Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hairstylist / Barber located in Orillia, ON.

The Hairstylist / Barber will be responsible for providing hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, perming and styling hair and recommending hair care products.

Daily tasks also include consulting with clients on their hair care needs and preferences, maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, and general salon cleaning.

Additionally, the Hairstylist / Barber will engage with clients to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive client experience.

 

Qualifications

Certified & Registered with College of the Trades in Ontario, Canada

Relevant certifications or licenses in Cosmetology or Barbering

Certified in Curly Hair is a preference

Minimum 3 years experience Own Clientele is a preference (we have a large clientele)

Skills in Hair Cutting, Styling, Hair Care, Strong Customer Service and Communication skills

Proven ability to consult with clients and understand their hair care needs

Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace

Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday
